Writing Assignments

Writing Assignments (often based upon the reading for the day that they are due), are to ensure a thorough grasp of the subject matter and to stimulate class discussion. These assignments are to be handed in, when due, at the beginning of class. They are to be not shorter than a page and three-quarters and not longer than two pages. Follow the style and submission requirements noted under "Grades" in the "Course Description and Policies" web page. Please note the due dates for these assignments  correspond (except for the third) to the day the subject is treated in the syllabus.
