OS X Mail: Getting Started
- OS X Mail Overview
- Macintosh OS X Mail is a comprehensive desktop information management program.
You can use it as a central In box for all of your internal and external e-mail
messaging systems. You can also use it to manage your contacts.
- Starting OS X Mail

- If an OS X Mail icon is on the Dock, Click the Mail icon.

Mail icon - If an OS X Mail icon is NOT on the Dock, click on the Finder icon on the Dock.

Finder icon - In the Finder window, click Applications. If OS X Mail is installed, there should be a Mail icon.

- If an OS X Mail icon is on the Dock, Click the Mail icon.
- Exiting OS X Mail
- You can exit OS X Mail in the same way you would exit any other OS X program. Close OS X Mail by closing the window or using cmd-Q or going to Mail>Quit Mail.
