Adding an Address to Your Address Book
You can add addresses in a number of different ways. One way is to click the + button at the bottom of the Name column when you open the Address Book.

The Address Book
You can also use the cmd-N keystroke or click on File and then New Card.

After you have initiated creating a new address, a No Name address will appear and you can make changes as described in Editing an Address in Your Address Book.
