Cass Scenic Railroad—West Virginia
We have made several trips to Cass Scenic Railroad over the years. Cass is enjoyable for people of all ages. When our sons and nephews were young, we took the two-hour rides to Whittaker Station. The last time we were there, in August 2009, we did the four-hour trip up to Spruce. The walk around the old company town at Cass also is nice and we always enjoy browsing the country store and getting ice cream.
